Ringler Informatik and emineo Launch Partnership for Cantonal Tax Solutions
Swiss cantons seeking to modernise their tax systems will soon have a new option: Ringler Informatik AG and emineo AG, two specialised Swiss software providers in the tax domain, are joining forces to develop an integrated cantonal tax solution.
The market for cantonal tax assessment systems is currently undergoing fundamental renewal. Many cantons are evaluating the modernisation or even full replacement of their existing solutions. They are looking for systems built on open, future-ready architectures that combine technical precision with a high degree of automation.
The joint response from emineo and Ringler is an integrated end-to-end solution: emineo is developing a comprehensive, cantonally configurable tax software platform that covers the entire process—from assessment and collection to register management—aligned with the reference architecture of the Swiss Tax Conference (SSK). A core component of this solution is the modular integration of Ringler Informatik’s specialised declaration solution. Future users will therefore benefit directly from Ringler’s extensive expertise in tax declaration.
Clear Division of Roles: Declaration and End-to-End Solution
Ringler Informatik brings decades of experience in electronic tax declaration and possesses in-depth knowledge of the tax regulations of all Swiss cantons. The quality of tax assessment depends directly on the depth of declaration logic. Ringler contributes this foundational expertise to the overall solution, thereby shaping the automation of the entire process chain. The integration of AI as well as consistent alignment with established eCH standards – particularly eCH-0276 and eCH-0278 – enable additional gains in efficiency and quality.
emineo, a software engineering company specialising in the delivery of business-critical IT systems for the public sector, has successfully implemented several major projects in the tax domain. These include, among others, the BVTax application for the valuation of non-listed securities, developed in collaboration with experts from the SSK.
