Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant to join our analytics and digital transformation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Analytics Cloud planning solutions that drive business insights and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality planning models and analytics dashboards tailored to business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAC Planning models, including data modeling, calculations, allocations, and forecasting.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate SAC with various SAP and non-SAP data sources (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BPC).
- Configure planning functionalities such as version management, data locking, data actions, and input tasks.
- Develop and optimize stories, dashboards, and visualizations in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet performance and usability standards.
- Provide user training and documentation to support solution adoption.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities following agile or waterfall methodologies.
- Stay current on new SAC features and best practices, offering recommendations for improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud, specifically in planning and forecasting solutions.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Planning, Forecasting, and Financial Planning processes.
- Experience with data modeling in SAC and integration with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or BPC.
- Proficient in SAP Data Actions, Advanced Formulas, Allocations, and Version Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP SAC certification is a strong plus.
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, BPC Embedded, or Group Reporting
- Knowledge of Predictive Planning or Machine Learning capabilities in SAC.
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
