SAP Solution Architect – 100%
Main activities:
- Build conceptual and detailed solution architecture designs based on leading standard and approaches
- Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
- Translating client’s requirements into the technical design and implementation plan of complex, scalable and robust solutions
- Resolve key design decisions focusing on best practice
- Help to mobilize the team and set-up the right delivery and architectural artifacts for delivery team to succeed
- Be actively involved in business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Train, coach, and supervise team members
- Be able to lead or act as subject matter expert in enterprise and application reviews or other strategic initiatives that affect the client’s business and functionals areas
- Manage and work alongside Enterprise Architects, Business and technical SMEs and other delivery/technical resource to analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Be able to create and maintain a detailed view of existing architecture in order to help manage the transition to future state architecture
- Have a good understanding of issues and challenges facing business functions in departments such as finance, supply chain, sales, customer etc.
- Understand the governance and processes of an architecture practice
- Be able to identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary
Required competencies:
Technically
- Have a proven track record in SAP solution architecture and working with SAP products
- Extensive experience of defining and designing SAP Solution architectures using SAP products and its application into industries/sectors
- Ability to combine SAP products with other technologies
- Deep understanding of SAP products and their topics such as SAP S4/HANA, SAC, BW/4HANA, MDG, Ariba, IBP etc.
- Be able to cover topics around SAP Data management and Governance, automation with SAP, usage of specific IS solution, Integration and Data Integration, SAP Technology and Security architecture
- A high level of general, technical knowledge incl. current, emerging and future technology market trends and their impact on business
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture governance incl. steps required, conceptual and solution architecture reviews, security assessments, pen tests, code reviews and service acceptance criteria
Personally
- Comfortable working with ambiguity at the beginning of projects, with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this
- Good knowledge of Business Architecture, incl. business and technology strategies, operating models, process models, business and technology capability models and taxonomies
- Experience of working and leading teams in onshore or managed through delivery centers (near or offshore)
