Your responsibilities:
- Developing challenging Web/JEE applications
- Development of software and enterprise architectures
- Designing solutions (business and technical) in cooperation with customers
- Conducting effort estimations
- Subproject management
- Contribute to the technical advancement of software development within emineo
Your qualifications:
Professional skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in informatics, business informatics (University, ETH, FH)
- Strong customer orientation and high-quality standards
- Extensive experience in developing solutions based on Java technologies/open-source frameworks
- Experience in agile software development
- Knowledge around topics like: JAVA frameworks for dependency injection, O/R mapping and access control (Spring, Hibernate), JAVA application server (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere or WildFly), Spring, Vaadin, cloud technologies (Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes), database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, Maria DB).
Personal skills
- Ability to work independently combined with a high level of self-motivation, solution-oriented mindset and curiosity
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as determination and ability to learn quickly
- Good knowledge of English (oral/written)
