“ZLPro”: Calculate claims for additional benefits simply via app

The ‘ZLPro’ application simplifies a determination of the demand for supplemental services. ‘ZLPro’ was created by the Office for Supplemental Services at the AHV/IV and the municipal informatics competency centre (organization and informatics) in cooperation with external partners, such as the city of Zurich.
This is the largest software development project of the city in the last ten years. ‘ZLPro’ is being introduced in the city of Zurich and in another 15 communities in the Canton. Calculation of the demand for supplemental services can be handled automatically by ‘ZLPro’ under inclusion of all individual and lawful factors.
Viewed across all participating communities, about 26,000 cases involving around one billion Swiss Francs is being handled annually with ‘ZLPro’. Source: Neue Zürcher Zeitung, 09. December 2017
