February 2024: emineo wins public contracts worth millions
Thanks to our extensive process and technology experience in SAP and digitalization topics in public administration, we have won several tenders from the Canton of St. Gallen and the Federal Office of Information Technology and Telecommunications in recent weeks. In total, more than 50 million Swiss francs are at stake.
The Canton of St. Gallen and the Federal Office of Information Technology & Telecommunications (FOITT) are launching pioneering IT projects. These public institutions are relying on the emineo Group’s digital and SAP expertise, among other things. As a Swiss SAP Gold Partner, we are delighted to have been awarded several important contracts that underline emineo’s expertise and innovative strength in public administration. Thanks to its many years of experience and numerous reference projects, emineo is one of the preferred IT specialists in Switzerland when it comes to the effective digitalization of public administration.
In January, the canton of St. Gallen opted for emineo’s SAP expertise in two areas. One framework agreement involves the optimization, digitalization and automation of financial processes with the SAP finance modules (FI/CO) with a value of over four million Swiss francs. In the second framework agreement, emineo’s specialists are modernizing logistics processes with SAP. This decision underlines the canton’s confidence in emineo’s quality and expertise in the area of SAP implementation.
What makes digitization successful? The end users decide that. If users recognize the added value of a digital solution and enjoy using it, the investment is worthwhile and the return on investment increases. At the same time, network and scaling effects can arise. This is why the Federal Office of Information Technology & Telecommunications (FOITT) is also relying on emineo’s state-of-the-art digital expertise for two framework agreements: emineo and two other partners will support the FOITT in the development of digital user interfaces (user interface design) to the value of over 23 million Swiss francs. emineo scored full marks in the selection process. The company’s many years of experience in the design and development of ergonomic and accessible user interfaces played a decisive role in this. Furthermore, emineo was awarded the contract for support in the area of “Human Centered Design” for more than 28 million Swiss francs.
